What's up, Weekend? 11•15•19

Happy Friday Everyone!

This week has kinda just been one day crashing into another.  Well for me it has anyways.  I think most people call that one step forward and two steps back.  It was like every time I thought I was caught up, something would fall apart.  And now its Friday and Im walking in like Im being held together with duct tape.  Yup that pretty much sums it up.

Today I'm linking up with Lindsay from The Flynnigans, Charlotte from My Pixie Blog and Beth from Coffee until Cocktails.  Every Friday we share all the things that we are happy, grateful and thankful for!  Stop on over and see what everyone else is sharing today! Here is my list for this week.

  • Colder weather.
  • Super helpful boys.
  • Family dinners full of laughter
  • FT with Mom and Melisa.
  • Bedtime hugs.
  • Coffee.  Not the decaf but half caf is ok.
  • Getting reacquainted with my big camera.
  • Talking music with Anthony
  • Thinking about some blog changes.
  • Getting some real rest.

The weather has been up and down lately but this week is been a steady stream of cold.  And its awesome.  Sure some days have had a bit of a sting in them but it sure beats the heat we got last summer.  And that means a lot coming from my mouth!  The boys have been amazing this week.  With my energy low and pain high, they have really helped me out and I am so very thankful for them.

Mom is in Texas but a few hours away with my little sister.  The other day we jumped on face time "really quick" to say good morning and get our day started together.  Next thing you know my alarm for school pick up was going off.  Really quick apparently means 5 hours later.  Yup we just followed each other around all day.  Like hanging out but though the phone.  Might seem silly but for someone who is mostly cut off from the rest over the world, I had company all day and it was nice.

Did you see my IG the other day where I talked about my adventures with decaf coffee?  I'm coming to realize that there is no point to it.  I mean sure its cool that there is no caffeine but is that what really makes coffee so damn good?  Last night I mixed half my decaf with my regular and it was much more tolerable!

The other day David insisted I stay in bed all day.  I always laugh when he says things like "You better sleep all day!" and "I better not see that you cleaned today!"  I have been running at full speed and not ignoring my bodies cries for help.  My head is a mess.  My anxiety and insomnia are though the roof.  And I can't find enough time to take my meds so I haven't.  So I rested.  Spent the whole day in bed.  I don't remember half of it but I know that I napped and felt better that afternoon.   And even got my kitchen sink shined!  I really need to get my life together.

We don't have any big plans this weekend.  I'm kinda wanting to get my Christmas lights figured out.  I have been thinking about changing out my outside lights this year but I'm not sure that's where I want to invest most of my Christmas Decor Budget this year.  Why am I so indecisive sometimes?!  Anthony has been wanting to shoot hoops so I think we will make that a must.  He doesn't ask for much so when the Teenager suggests leaving the house, we should make it happen right?

What do you have planned for the weekend?  Staying warm or are you going to be out in the cold?  Have any of y'all started decorating for the holidays?  Do you decorate for Fall then Winter or both at once?  I'm so conflicted on this.  Go figure!

What ever you decide to do, I hope it makes you all kinds of happy!
