June Goals and Mantras

Lets start this new month by pretending last month didn't happen therefor any goals that were set and not met, never really existed!  Cool?  OK cool.  Seriously though, I'm not even going to go though what I planned to do and what I didn't get done. It was a crazy month. But it's over.


So I'm just going to wipe the slate clean and call it good.  Happy JUNE everyone.  We have 2 days of school left.  And then its sweet freedom for the next 3 months!  Hello Summer Break!  I'm so excited!  Probably more excited than the boys are.  Hello guilt free late nights! And yes, sleeping in!  But more than anything I just love having my boys home!

As far as goals go I'm going to go a little easy on myself as we ease into the month.  I know the boys are going to be bored in a mater of days and there is still a lot going on so, I'm not about to push my luck.  So here is what I came up with.


GOALS
  • Spend some one on one time with the boys.
  • Knock out some appointments.
  • Renew my library card and read a real book!
  • Swim as much as we can.
  • Try getting at least 6 hours of sleep at night.
  • Post 3 times a week.

MANTRA

This.  I really need to work on this.  I expect to much from this broken down body of mine.  David had to remind me last week that not only is my liver failing but also had a heart attack so, I can't expect life to be easy.  I hate struggling.  But I know I will.  I need to remember to do what I can and ask for help with the things I can't.   Easier said than done, but I'll work on it this month!
