Whats up Weekend: October 5th

OK October.  I see you.  And yes, I will give you a little love.  Confession, I am starting to remember some of the things I used to love about Fall.  I find my self smiling more, which is nice because I though I was doomed to be blue for the rest of the year.  But most everyone I know is happy that its Fall and happiness is contagious!

Speaking of happy, today I'm linking up with Lindsay from The Flynnigans, Charlotte from My Pixie Blog and Beth from Coffee until Cocktails.  Every Friday we share all the things that we are happy, grateful and thankful for!  Stop on over and see what everyone else is sharing today! Here is my list for this week!

  1.  Hot drinks at all times of the day.
  2.  Cool mornings!
  3.  The Fall air smell.
  4.  Voicemails from my sister.
  5.  My Fall Wreath. Did you see it Wednesday?
  6.  Playing video games while the boys are at school.
  7.  Sliding into clean sheets.
  8.  The noisy neighbors moved!!
  9.  Santa Clarita Diet on Netflix.
  10.  Discovering apps that I love.
That pretty much sums my week up.  Lots of tea has been had this week.  I feel like my body is fighting something so I'm trying to stay on top of it.  Also, my hormones are wreck so the cool mornings are a freaking lifesaver.  That also explains why I was playing video games.  Such a good stress reliever.  And when that didn't work I just binged me some Netflix and played with a few new apps on my phone.

What I really wish I could do is spend more time out back now that there are not dogs barking constantly.  The grass really needed to be cut so we did that yesterday.  Holy mosquitoes y'all!  A month of rain was needed but those bloodsuckers are brutal!  They have kept me inside where its safe.  But yay for clean and cold sheets.  Am I right?!

This weekend should be interesting.  Anthony is having a friend over Friday night and Saturday night the boys are staying at Grandmas.  Alex needs a new fatigues.  She buys them on base and sews on Grandpas old patches.  Anthony was a soldier like 4 years in a row.  And Alex pretty much lived in his until he started school.  As in, everyday.  Luckily he fit into Anthonys too so I could swap them out to wash and he never knew!  Not sure if Anthony will decide he is to big for this tradition this year.  Gotta love those teenagers.  At least I have photos to remember it all!

So I'm hoping there is a date night in our weekend since we will be kidless for part of it. Maybe a trip downtown to test out some new gadgets and take the drone up?  I also have a few sponsored posts coming up that I need to work on and shop for.  That's always fun!  But first I need to get this house cleaned and put together.  I was such a slacker this week!

What are you guys up to this weekend?  Anything fun going on?
