What's up weekend: September 21st

As much as I was looking forward to this weekend, I'm not going to lie, I'm a little bummed.  Tomorrow is the first day of Fall and my emotions are a little mixed at the moment.  I know we are ready for a new season.  I know that Fall means Thanksgiving and that is my favorite holiday ever.  I guess I'm just coming off the rush of a great summer and now that its over, I don't want to let go.  Plus, after Fall comes Winter.  And the winter blues.  Its a real thing, I swear!  I like sunshine, warmth and happiness.  No matter how long Ive been away from home, I am an island girl!

1.  A visit to the Home and Gardens show on Sunday.
2.  Lots of beautiful skies this week.
3.  Good progress reports for Ant.
4.  Watching Alex read though books.
5.  Cherry 7 up.  I bought a 12 pack. I'm addicted.
6.  Random weekday movie nights.
7.  A husband who brings out the tech-nerd in me.
8.  4 hour phone conversations with my big sister.
9.  Crispy wings in the air fryer.  
10.  Getting in a good nap yesterday.  Lord knows I needed it.

The sky was like cotton candy on yesterday morning!  It was beautiful.  

I'm not sure what we have planned for this weekend.  I want to get out but its supposed to be a rainy weekend, so that might be a no go.  I hate to end the season on a rainy day, but not much I can do about that!  Then again, we are supposed to get ponchos "hole in the wall" patched so we might just stick close to home.  As much as I will miss telling people the story of Poncho tripping and putting his butt imprint into my wall, Id also like to stop having to apologize to people for the state of my wall.  I guess its another weekend we are just going to wing it.
