Sunsets, Sunshine and Starbucks

Well today kinda went to hell in a hand basket.  Fast.  Y'all, the world has gone a little crazy and we all have to just find a way to get though this too.  Im annoyed just reading about all my friends struggling though the stores.  And I haven't left the house yet.  Hell, Im not even supposed to, but I might just have to make one weekend run out and call it as good as it gets.  Trying to stay positive.  As much as I can be anyways.  Plus its Friday.

Today I'm linking up with Lindsay from The Flynnigans, Charlotte from My Pixie Blog and Beth from Coffee until Cocktails.  Every Friday we share all the things that we are happy, grateful and thankful for!  Stop on over and see what everyone else is sharing today! Here is my list for this week.

  • Another fun Zoo day.
  • Getting a cardboard straw at Starbucks. Baby steps.
  • Freebies in the mail.
  • Exploring a new trail right here in our neighborhood.
  • Amazing sunsets.
  • The smell of lemon blossoms.
  • A writing contract.
  • Getting out of my comfort zone.
  • Checking in with friends.
  • Sunshine & warmth.  Kinda feels like Spring now.

I know there is more.  But all I can think about right now is what is going to be left at the store by the time we get a chance to go.  I get that people are freaking out and trying to stockpile things.  But I can't drive.  So I have to wait for David to take me shopping or to pick up groceries. And considering he comes home to eat and change before leaving for his second job, time to go into the store and shop is limited.  The struggle is real.  And the worst part is that it really isn't.  I keep thinking about all the people out there who are so much sicker.  Who are 100% housebound.  Who is helping them?  If yall are able to, check in on your neighbors.  In the middle of all this craziness, a little kindness goes a long way.

Anyways.  This weekend, we have a few errands to run.  I will most likely end up staying home if I don't have to go.  Then notice just came in that school is out for another week.  The boys are happy.  And I am happy they will be here safe and sound.

How are things in your neck of the woods?  Toilet paper shortage? I hope everyone has a safe and happy weekend.  Don't forget to cover your cough and kick the people who don't!  Kidding....sort of!

Happy Friday!!
