What's Up, Weekend? 11•22•19

Hey Guys, Its FRIDAY!  Finally.  T minus 5 hours until Thanksgiving Break. This morning didn't start out quite like I wanted to but you guys, my heart was saved by my teenager!  I clearly woke up on the wrong side of the bed.  Its rare for Alex and I to butt heads and even though we cleared things up before he left, I still felt awful about it.  As I was trying to catch my breath Anthony reminded me that it will be OK.  And that I made it though all this with him already.  Then he reminded me of all the things I do right.  How can I feel like I totally failed and won in the same moment.  I love that kid! I want this week to be full of fun and happiness so I'm going to accept that it happened and do what I need to do to make it right.  After all, who wants to have an unhappy Friday?  Not me.

Today I'm linking up with Lindsay from The Flynnigans, Charlotte from My Pixie Blog and Beth from Coffee until Cocktails.  Every Friday we share all the things that we are happy, grateful and thankful for!  Stop on over and see what everyone else is sharing today! Here is my list for this week.

Kind, forgiving and crazy smart boys.

Making time for naps!

Hump day fires and marshmallows with a friend!

The calmness that settles in my house at night.

My new kitchen shelf.

A husband who works hard and set a good example for our boys.

Disney+

Being OK with saying no for once.

Writing out all the negativity I was holding on to!

Shopping for a new dishwasher.  And maybe a stove too.

Nat Geo on Disney + for the win!

I hope everyone had a great week!  Who's ready for Thanksgiving?  I am!  Well I am ready for the food, family and friends part.  I still have some shopping to do but it will all be done and ready to go by this weekend.  And the cleaning.  So much cleaning to catch up on!

That's what we will be doing this weekend.  Getting the house ready for company.  Stocking the kitchen up with food because the boys will be home all week.  Running last minute errands and rearranging rooms because Mom will be staying with us for a while.  And we should probably wash the car.  Like for real this time.

Ohhh, and I kind of want to put up my Christmas lights on the house.  I don't have to turn them on, I just want them done while I have the energy to do it.  I know its crazy.  I mean I know I have my inside stuff up but no one sees it!  No, I will put them up and then change the colors to Harvest-ey colors.  Yay for having color changing lights.  Technially I could have put them up on Halloween and put the Purple and Orange preset! Ha!  The HOA would have a fit.  Im rambling.  Sorry, the coffee just hit me!

What made you happy this week?   Big or small, let me know below.  Share that happiness!!
