What's Up, Weekend? 8•3•19

Holy Weekend am I glad to see you!  Finally getting to finish up this post and it will be Saturday by the time I'm done with it!  Even though I have been trying to get it done ALL day.  In between house stuff, making phone calls and feeding everyone a hundred times today, I kept getting sidetracked.  I'm ready to clock out!  Wait, can moms even do that?  Probably not.  Although a little break time is needed every now and then.  Don't feel guilty about it either.  Take that coffee and a book and sit outside for a little bit!  That's what I do!  Maybe its getting in a good work out or heading to Target, with no littles in tow!  What ever it is, make sure it makes you happy.  In case you didn't catch my post from yesterday (check it out here), Happiness is what I'm all about this month!  But for now let's dial it back to just this week!

Peaceful Posse Link Up

Today I'm linking up with Lindsay from The Flynnigans, Charlotte from My Pixie Blog and Beth from Coffee until Cocktails.  Every Friday we share all the things that we are happy, grateful and thankful for!  Stop on over and see what everyone else is sharing today! Here is my list for this week.

  • Shark Week!!
  • What the Health on Netflix
  • Playing Pokemon with the boys.
  • Quiet hours on the patio.
  • A good Doctors appointment.
  • My new blenders.
  • Being social...online.
  • A tasty menu this week.
  • Getting my Orgain Ambassador Kit.
  • Finally getting Anthony's script through!

Thai Beef Wraps
Thai Beef Wraps make everyone happy!
The other day the boys wanted to go to a Pokemon gym to fight in a raid.  We were walking down the street and they kept saying that there was no chance we could win because we were only 4 people.  When we turned the corner, there were cars lined up and people standing all over the place.  It was nuts.  Yes, we still play Pokemon.  No, apparently we are not the only ones who play either.  My boys were the only children there.  And yes, we won!

For my birthday, David got me a new blender.  Well, blenders.  It is a standard that also blends individual cups.  My old one is now my travel blender since it smaller and I can use the blender cup from the new one.  He also got me the casserole dish I have been eyeballing.  Another win!  Am I the only one who loves getting these kinds of things for presents?  I know a lot of people who will say house things are not presents, but I love presents.

Also, I am loving being social.  I have had so many great talks with awesome people this week.  Since for the most part, I am stuck at home, its not very often I get to talk to people.  Thankfully I have cool neighbors that I like, but usually its just David and the boys all week.  But this week I got to catch up with a few old friends, some newer ones too, and I also met quite a few new faces, mostly other Orgain Ambassadors.  So if you see me online, say hey.  Be social on social media!  It's so easy to push a like button and double click a heart.  But, this housebound social butterfly over here loves a good comment or message.  Just me?

This weeks menu was full of deliciousness.  If you follow me on IG you probably have seen it.  You either love or hate my food posts.  Ive heard from both ends this week.  But guess what, its my Instagram and I post what I want to. HA!  I'm finishing up next weeks menu and I'm already hungry.

Moms Time out in the Hammock
Moms Time Out Hammock!

This weekend we are fixing to be busy.  Tomorrow we are going to the movies, the zoo and out to dinner.  Sunday is Davids make up birthday since he was sick on his big day.  So his mom invited us over there for an early dinner.  And just like that we will be back to Monday!  Womp womp.  Its all good.  We are taking our August trip the following week so I won't complain.  Much, anyways.

Whats up with your weekend?  Doing anything fun?  Squeezing in any end of Summer trips?  Cheers to a great week and hopefully a super slow weekend!
