Whats up, Weekend? 2•8•19

Well hello there Friday!  I have been ready for you since Wednesday!  But you're here so I'm just going to be happy for that. It is the Weekend after all and you know what that means!

Today I'm linking up with Lindsay from The Flynnigans, Charlotte from My Pixie Blog and Beth from Coffee until Cocktails.  Every Friday we share all the things that we are happy, grateful and thankful for!  Stop on over and see what everyone else is sharing today! Here is my list for this week!

Anthony's Cystic Fibrosis test was negative. All the worrying and stress was worth hearing that!  Now we are facing a few more rounds of tests and then hopefully then we will at least have a clue as to what caused him to stop growing and a plan of what to do next.  Test should be in a month and results a few weeks after.

Alex's Student Led Conference.  Hes doing awesome! I get such a kick out of him trying to tell me he is doing such a good job because he is so damn humble. His teacher backed him up though.  Said hes super hard on him self and has high expectations but that he is doing great.  Hes in high math and reading well beyond his grade.

Tying up a few posts for the upcoming weeks.  I have been working on a few posts about life stuff and I just need to stop re-reading them and hit post.  Hopefully next week I will pull the trigger on at least one of them!

These Fish Tacos.  Made my whole week.  And there was enough for lunch too which was even better!  The last time I made them, was the first time I had fish tacos.  I was so skeptical but now I'm hooked!

Talking to another human for a few straight hours.  Sat outside the other day and enjoyed the cool air and some good conversation.  And the boys got to stay up a little late since I was not paying attention to the time.

Playing football in the street with the boys.  Trying to get the boys outside when it cold is so hard.  But it was really nice out and we don't care how ugly my throws are we were just having fun!  I love those boys something fierce!

Little buds on my Red Bud Tree.  Spring is so close you guys.  At least for us down here in TX.  You wouldn't be able to tell by the cold weather we are having this weekend though.  My aloe plants are blooming too!

A little validation from a friend.  When you tell someone about your anxiety and they remind you that you have a lot on your shoulders and its understandable, it really takes a weight off your shoulders knowing someone really sees you, ya know?!

Fresh cut grass out back.  It was a jungle out there.  I was going to wait, but then Chico got lost in the grass and I figured Id just get it over with.

David woke me up when he got home last night.  He also brought donuts and tea for the morning.  I know that after working 2 jobs and being gone over 15 hours a day all he really wants to do is come home and sleep but still went out of his way to do something sweet for me and even got us some fun Friday Breakfast.  Its the little things!

I meant to have posted this earlier, but I ended up talking with my sisters all day, thank you IG video chat since, FT seems to not be working right now.  But we were talking and doing sister stuff from 3 different cities.  We went though our jewelry boxes and showed off our goods, went through photos and laughed because we were all showing the same pictures.  And then we went about our daily chores and what not and laughed the whole time.  I'm so glad that we are all working on being better at staying in touch.  Now if only we can get the boys in on the fun too!  Although as crazy as our group texts get, I can't imagine actual video chat with all of us together.

This weekend we are going to be staying inside, where its warm and dry.  I'm kinda hoping it doesn't rain tomorrow because I would like to break in the new grill with some steaks.  But I'm thinking its going to be a movie and pizza kinda day.  It doesn't really matter as long as we are together right?

What are your plans for the weekend?  What does the forecast for the next few days look like.  Should be cold and wet here until Tuesday.  It was over 70 degrees yesterday and today's high was 40.  Gross.

Happy Friday Y'all!
