Menu Plan Monday: February 13th

For the first time in a while, I'm not even stressed at the fact that its Monday and my menu is only half done. It's almost a little scary how calm my heart is today.  I'm sure now that I wrote that, the day is going to face plant though.  The weather is supposed to turn rainy later today.  I finally got my hands on the latest Stephanie Plum book, everyone is fed, and laundry is started. I kinda just want to veg out a little.

Davids approach to my unfinished menu is to just make what I have and we will just figure it out in the store. His only request was that I make the whole chicken at the end of the week.  I don't know why, but he has some kind of grudge against whole chickens.  As much as I want to have everything in place, I think I will take his advice.  Lets see how he feels about this plan when we are shopping and I can't make up my mind on what I want to make Thursday.


MONDAY:  Leftovers before we go shopping.

TUESDAY:  Jalapeno Popper Chicken and salads

WEDNESDAY:  Buffalo Chicken Meatballs

THURSDAY:  (Something NOT chicken)

FRIDAY:  Roast Chicken and veggies.

We are pretty chicken-ed and salad-ed out. The boys asked for Beef and Broccoli again.  David asked for Lemon Pepper Turkey but it's just not the same without the rice.  I suppose I could just make them what they want and be done with it.  But we need new foods and flavors.  Feeling super uninspired in the kitchen this week.  I better get it together.  Any recipes y'all care to share?
