Menu Plan Monday: April 4th

Oh Monday.  Why must you rush me?  Or why must I procrastinate and blame everything on you?

The weekend was almost a bust.  Saturday we got up and planned to run some errands before heading out to help the Rescue.  I got 10 minutes into the drive and my pain went from a 3 to an 8 and I made told David to just take me home.  I was super upset because its not very often that I let my pain stop me, but damn it was a burning that I have not felt before. So I came home and rested. My little sister came over and kept the boys busy and me company. Sunday came around and I had this crazy idea that because I was feeling better, I could take on the backyard work.  Probably should have just laid in the hammock.

Today I woke up and felt pretty good.  Lets pretend every muscle in my body isn't hurting.  I managed to get my kitchen cleaned up, dishes done, the floors mopped and I even ate lunch.  And now I'm going to get my menu together and try to get a cat nap in before the boys come home.

Here is the line up for the week.

Monday:  Baked Pork Chops, Potatoes and Zucchini.

Tuesday:  Spaghetti and Salads

Wednesday:  Leftovers

Thursday: Egg Rolls and fried rice

Friday:  Homemade Sloppy Joes and Broccoli.

The boys did ask for English Muffin Bread for breakfast tomorrow.  Done!  Getting them to eat breakfast has been like pulling teeth. So if they will eat it, I will make it!  And it beats cereal any day!

Nothing new, nothing to hard.  The only bad thing about my appetite being back is that everything sounds good and I don't know what to make.  I just can't win here.  Well except for the nap I'm about to take! Happy Monday Y'all!
