Summer, snakes and something new!

Its been a while since I have been this thankful for a Friday. Ive been working on living each day to the fullest instead of living for the weekend.  But hot damn!  TGIF y'all.  Im ready to count my blessings and move on to the next one already.  So lets do that

Summer, snakes and something new

Theres something so refreshing about taking time to look back at the last couple of days and picking out a few things that made you happy.  It might be something big like a birthday or maybe something smaller like a new leaf on one of your houseplants.  But being grateful for all those moments and just taking some time to acknowledge them is such a great way to end the week.  Here are a few things that made me happy this week.

Veggies, Video Chats and Venturing Out

What a week yall!  It is Friday and I am here for it.  I may have rolled out of bed an hour behind schedule and sipped my coffee like I had all the time in the world, when I do not, but here I am.  I have 4 things to do today.  Sweat, clean, cook and check the ac.  Life is hard!  OK maybe not that hard, but its happening.  It will more on with or without me so I need to get to getting things done.

Happiness is

But first because, I totally miss my Friday happiness posts and little thought sessions I do with myself, here I am.  I mentioned a few weeks ago that I wanted to do these on the weekend instead because I wanted to include those days too.  And because I totally always make things so much harder than they really are.  But then the weekends happened and I never sat down to do it.  So here I am.  On Friday. Sharing a few things that made me happy this week.

Christmas, Candles and Clean Teeth

It's been quiet around here.  Is it weird that when everyone around me is going holiday crazy I tend to feel calm and quiet?   This time of year things slow down and I try to get ready for the new year.  Can you believe it's almost December?!  2019 is right around the corner y'all.  Before we know it it will be Summer Time! Oh, just saying that make my heart happy!

Speaking of happy, today I'm linking up with Lindsay from The Flynnigans, Charlotte from My Pixie Blog and Beth from Coffee until Cocktails.  Every Friday we share all the things that we are happy, grateful and thankful for!  Stop on over and see what everyone else is sharing today! Here is my list for this week!

What's up Weekend { June 22 }

I'm linking up with Lindsay from The Flynnigans, Charlotte from My Pixie Blog and Beth from Coffee until Cocktails.  Every Friday we share all the things that we are happy, grateful and thankful for!  Stop on over and see what everyone else is sharing today! Here is my list for this week!

This week flew right on by and I am beyond thankful for that.  I have so much that I wanted to do this week but my body had other plans.  So I rested and am finally starting to feel more human than rabid animal.  I need a vacation from our vacation.  But a week of rest was nice too.

Fridays around here are for sharing happiness and things we are thankful and grateful for.  And lord knows my list is long this week.  So I'm just going to dive in.

Whats up Weekend { June 8th }

**Update.  I originally had August 6th as the date.  Then I realized it was the 8th.  Then someone texted me to remind me that I was getting ahead of myself and its actually only JUNE 8th.  Multi-tasking fail!  **

I'm taking a quick break from all this packing and cleaning craziness.  Today is the first day of Summer Break and our vacation.  I still have a few things to get done, but I got hungry.  And its Friday, so you know what that means!

Whats up, Weekend? { April 27th }

I almost forgot it was Friday.  The boys are home because they are out of school today for Battle of the Flowers.  It's part of the Fiesta celebration here in San Antonio.  This 10 day festival is celebrated every Spring and the whole city joins in.  I love it.  Plus we get a day off from school so that's an added bonus!

This week kind of fell apart.  Anthony was home on Monday.  Both boys went to school Tuesday and Wednesday and then Alex was home sick on Thursday.  So today now that everyone seems to be better, I will be catching up on everything I didn't get done this week.  Has anyone seen my Cinderella apron? No?  The cleaning animals then.  Have you see them?  I better get to work then!

Whats up weekend { February 16th}

Some weeks are over in the blink of an eye, but this one was not one of them.  This week dragged out for what felt like a month!  But I'm pretty it was just because I am anxiously waiting my tests next week.  I am not known for my patience.

But in the spirit of Friday, I am going to share a few things that made me happy this week.

New books to read.  I should probably get started on those...

A new dog brush that works and the dogs love.

Being able to take pain free deep breaths!

A friend who supports my stubborn butt and helped me avoid the ER.

Having people I can laugh about serious stuff with.

Dinner conversations with the boys. They always catch me off guard and then blow me away.

Sleep.  I know there is a reason to my fatigue now, but I haven't slept this much in years!

Getting my big camera out again.

The sweetest Valentine card from my little neighbor.

This weekend is looking like its going to be a lot of time at home.  If the weather cooperates I would love to get out and get some fresh air.  That would be amazing!  I need fresh air and sunshine.  Might not get a lot of sunshine, but 1 out of 2 isn't bad!

Its kind of amazing how a quick look back makes the week seem so much better.  So tell me, what is something that made you happy this week?  Big or small.  What made you smile?

Food, Facetime and Fun Neighbors

Its finally Friday!  Can we talk about how hard the second week of back to school is.  The first week is all excitement and fun and then the drag hits and everyone realizes that Summer lazy days are gone for a whole year.  By everyone, I mean me.

But even though getting the boys out of the house on time was next to impossible, even though I got my butt kicked in the gym and even though my mind has been so all over the place this week, my heart is happy. And since its Friday, I get to share it all with you.

Having a library at the gym. I can reward my self with a book for every workout!

All the food. My appetite is back-ish!

Facetime with my siblings. Some of the few people who get my sarcasm.

Laughing with David. Believe it or not, he's not always so serious.

Choosing my battles. Totally winning here!

Swim. Both boys swimming at once = no bickering for 45 mins!

A variety of new books to read. Including a lego cookbook for Alex.

My new phone. I am loving this thing!

Morning chats with the neighbors. Everyones coming and going and I'm just here, watering my grass.

Anthony going to the bus stop solo. Another reminder that hes not so little anymore.

What is one thing that made you happy this week?

The weather has been amazing.  Ive never experienced a real Fall season, but if this is it, no wonder everyone loves it so much! Its noon and still under 80 degrees!  Amazing! The fire pit might need to be pulled out tonight.

I will be keeping up with all my friends and family in Florida this weekend as Hurricane Irma bears down on them. I don't know who went and poked mother nature with a stick, but y'all better cut it out! You really made her mad! Sending my love to all who have been though crazy weather or will be going through it. If you have an extra prayer, they will need it for sure. Be sure to hug your loved ones extra tight tonight!

Lipstick, Lizards and Lighting up the sky.

I knew it would be a fast week. With a holiday in the middle of it all, the weekend came out of nowhere! I many not have known what day it was most of the week, but does that really matter?  Its summer after all.  I do know that today is Friday. And the best part about Fridays is sharing a little happiness and all that good stuff.

This week was full of goodness. Happiness. And Thankfulness. It wasn't perfect but pretty dang close. It's all about balance right.  Balance! So what brought a smile to my face and made my heart happy this week?

Catching up with old friends. Growing up on a military base but not being a military family meant lots of goodbyes. So when my friend Sondra who just happened to move here a few years ago told me her little sister was in town, I knew we had to get together. It's been 20 years since they left the island.

Then the next day, Auntie Buger (my little sister) and fiance came over. And Panda, their border collie mix. I will have to get a picture of her next time they are over. Shes all puppy and watching her trying to convince Poncho to run with her...hilarious and pitiful all in one. Eventually he grumbles and chases her for a split second. Poor old man!

We spend the morning of the 4th of July running errands and then taking the boys to see the new Minions movie. It was a good laugh for sure. And the boys finally got to see what recliner seating is all about! And look I even managed to get a sorta smiley picture with all of us in it! Only a handful of these exist.  I really need to work on that!

You can't really tell in that first picture but yes, I am wearing lipstick. Pink lipstick at that. It was part of the Maybelline Matte Ink Voxbox from Influenster and was given to me to test in exchange for a review. I'm not big lip girl. It's usually all about the mascara for me. Crazy thing is, that I kinda loved it. Mostly because at the end of the day, even after I scrubbed my face, my lips were still perfectly pink. I'm not quite sure this color is it for me but it's fun. And since it stayed on, I couldn't chicken out and just wipe it off before I went out!

The night of the 4th was more grilling. Grandma and Grandpa came over. And our best girls next door came over too. There was a lot of eating and then David and Anthony put on a little firework show for us. David said he wasn't going to buy fireworks this year, but went out for last minute drinks and came home with last minute fireworks! Boys! But it was nice having the family together.

Three trips to Petco.  Yes 3. The lights on Koopas Terrarium have gone out 3 times now. The last time, we noticed that the temp on the hot side were barely getting to where they need to be so we thought we had gotten the wrong bulb so we got a bigger one...that didn't fit. Once we got the new bulb we plugged it in only for it to go out again. I'm pretty sure its the timer we have the lights on, but David says no. But I was thankful he was willing to make a 3rd trip to the store by himself while I got things done at home. Hes not a big animal guy, but I'm thankful he handles my craziness. And keeps me from bringing home every animal I see. Like this little dude who was posing for me.

And the happiness will end right here. Non Dairy Ben and Jerry's for the win. We have recently switched over to mostly non dairy. A little shredded cheese here and there. And the occasional creamy dinner. The boys asked for ice cream but then remembered the no milk rule. We were crazy happy when we saw this!

Also, we finally made it back to the gym yesterday.  After a few days off it was so hard to get motivated so we called it a cardio day and pretty much stuck the elliptical except for a few miles on the bike. But I was out of bed and moving! You know, gotta make up for the scoop of ice cream from the night before.

And now here we are. Friday. I am talking to my sister, finishing up my happiness post and listening to the boys act a mess while they are actually playing TOGETHER!  Doesn't get much happier than that. It may have come down to them losing their phones, but they are having fun. Loud, rowdy and obnoxious fun. And even though I want to tell them to settle down, it didn't work the first 2 times so I am just gonna let them do their thing. Then we are going to go back to the Y and drain a little bit of this energy off. Where does all this energy come from?!?

So lets hear it. What are some things that made you happy this week? What are you thankful for right now? I'm linking up with a few of my favorite girls Lindsay, Charlotte and Christina for the What's up Weekend link up. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Living, Laughing and Loving all this Happiness

And then it was Friday!  I would do a happy dance but honestly, I'm just too tired. Turns out there is no happy dance button when you are running on autopilot. It was way too quiet around here this week. Next week things should settle down. Fingerscrossed! But for now, it's Friday and time to take a real good look at the week. Because even on autopilot, there has been so much to be happy and thankful for.

Want to know what made me happy this week?

The boys and I have been staying busy and there hasn't been much complaining about being bored. Total win in my book.

Speaking of books, I finally got around to reading Curious Minds by Janet Evanovich and I actually enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. I was a little different than what I am used to from her, but it wasn't bad.

Peach Hibiscus

My hibiscus isn't dead!  It was a little touch and go for a second there. The next one that blooms is going on my ear!

Laughing. Always laughing. While I love to laugh, what I really love is making David laugh. It's like my goal of the day. He so dang serious all the time.

Garlic and Rosemary Country Ribs

Tried two new recipes.  The Kung Pao Chicken was a hit.  The Ribs (above), not so much.  They weren't bad, and the looked great, but the flavors just not quite us.

I went to the gym 3 times this week and will probably go again tonight. #ThingsINeverThoughtIdSay

On Wednesday night I slept for almost 7.5 hours! The rest of the week has been 4 -5 hrs so I was feeling great!

My brothers fiance flew home and sent me a few things from Hawaii. Including Vanilla Macadamia Nut Coffee. It's made the early wake ups a little easier and the afternoons a little more bearable.

San Antonio Weather

Sunshine and warm weather.  Gotta love summer! Plus WTForcast makes for a good laugh!

Last but not least, life. Or more so, the fact that I'm still kicking. There have been quite a few people who have passed in some of the Liver groups I am in. Many more are really struggling. And right now, my pain is pretty low, I'm focused on being healthier and my biggest problem is getting in for an MRI. Life, while complicated, is pretty good right now.  Sure I'm tired.  Flat out exhausted some days, but I am alive!

 Whats up, Weekend?

Tell me, what made you happy this week?  I would love to know!  And don't forget to click over to the link up and see what happiness everyone else is sharing.  HAPPY FRIDAY!!

10 things that made me happy this week

To be honest, I wasn't going to get this post up today.  This whole week has been a complete wreck.  Tears were shed and still my heart is heavy.  I hate feeling this way.  I hate not being able to see the light.  Between missing 2 days of my meds and my anxiety though the roof, I kinda just shut down this morning.  Then there was the bit of light, and then a little more.  And I thought, I better take a break from my manic cleaning and get this all off my chest.  So here we go!

  1. Davids ability to be calm & love me through my crazy.
  2. The sunrises this week were amazing!
  3.  Poncho has been by my side all week.
  4.  Purging the boys closets.
  5.  Our Zoo passes came in!
  6.  My niece celebrated her 6th birthday.
  7.  Popcorn.  All the popcorn!
  8.  Upcoming procedures are scheduled.
  9.  Anthony's new medication in 100% covered!
  10. My labs got done and were perfect.  Recheck in 4 weeks!
You know, right now my life isn't even close to where I planned it to be.  Just about everything has gone wrong.  But, the boys are healthy, Davids on his way home, and I have a secret stash of sweets that a friend brought me because she knows just how crappy this week has been.

I angry cleaned today.  Vacuumed and steam cleaned the carpets.  Cleared out the garage.  Organized the shed. Threw out a bunch of junk that was cluttering up my house.  The music has been blasting all day.  And I think I am finally feeling a little better.  I no longer want to punch people and I haven't cried in a few hours! That's a pretty good start.  Right?

Have a great weekend everyone!

Choose Happy

Hello Friday!  Man am I ever excited to have this week over with.  It should have been a short week but thanks to little one with a stomach bug, it got a little crazy.  I have taken all my medications, all week. Even if yesterday I almost spit it out.  It took me about 10 minutes to convince myself that I had mixed it up, so I had to drink it.  Today I am running on empty.  Feels like I have been spread too thin this week but it's Friday and I'm gonna get my house and my life in order and enjoy the weekend.
10 things that made me happy this week.

1.  Finally getting my Christmas lights down.  I had been totally procrastinating on this.  But it's done.  Can it be spring now?

2.  Going up on the roof to eat an orange.  Its an old family joke and while I was up on the roof I had an orange.  Sent a pic to my brothers and sisters just to make them smile.

3. Pie in the face.  Have you played this game yet?  Its hilarious and the boys, and the girls next door had a blast playing it.  Love having a house full of fun and laughter.

4.  David has been home for dinner all week. I love it.  But I know the boys love it more!  And dinner conversations have been pretty tame lately.  I probably just jinxed myself.

5.  Did a home visit for a dog yesterday.  It made me happy that they were going well out of their way to adopt a dog.  And that the dog will be going to a super fun and happy family.

6.  Poncho and Chico didn't leave Alex's side the whole two days he was home.  I love that they are so in tune with our family and that they gave him so much comfort.

7.  Alex is feeling better and is back at school.  He might not be the biggest fan of school, but he loves his friends so he goes and is always happy at the end of the day when we pick him up.

8.  Naps.  My sleep goal is set at 6hrs.  And I have made my goal all week thanks to naps.  But whatever it takes to get to that goal right?

9.  Hot tea.  What I need to do is find some loose leaf tea so I can use my new shark infuser! It too makes me happy.  It's adorable.

10.  Laughing with David.  If you don't know him, he kinda has the man version of resting B face. He's so serious all the time!  But I live to make this man laugh.  So it makes me happy to see him lighten up a little.

I love going in to the weekend with a happy heart.  This is what I love so much about this link up.  It makes me take a deeper look at my week.  Sometimes I really have to dig and find things that made me happy, but I always find them.

10 things that made me happy this week

I'm not sure I will even be able to come up with 10 things but I know I have to try. I feel like I have been so weighed down by bad news and disappointment lately.  Things that hurt but that I can't change.  I'm tired of being angry and spiteful.  That's not me.  So I'm going to use today as a deep breath and go into the weekend with a lighter heart.

Beautiful Texas skies.

Friends who enjoy the things you do.

Owning our own home.

We saved a dog from a busy street and got him home.

Tourette Syndrome is not the worst things we have faced.

We are able to get all our medication.

Every night, we are all under one roof.

Cool nights on the patio.

It's almost November!

Melatonin Gummies.

At the end of the week, we are all here, alive and for the most part healthy.  We are happy and loved.  We have a roof over our heads, clothes on backs and food on our table.  No matter how bad our days are, we are still beyond blessed.  It's so easy to lose sight of that sometimes.  Especially when everything is pulling you down and in so many different directions.  But today I am going to choose to be happy.

What made you happy this week?  Id love to hear some more happy stories!  And be sure to check out the link up hosted by Krysten, Lindsay and Charlotte for more happiness!  Can't ever have enough right?!  Have a great weekend!!

10 things that made me happy this week

Time for a little Friday happiness to kick off the weekend.  I'm linking up with Why Girls Are Weird, The Flynnigans and My Pixie Blog.  Be sure to check them out and what others are happy about.  No better way to start the weekend than with happiness!

Well the week didn't turn out quite like I had planned but I did stay busy enough that it seemed to blast by.   Monday called for the oldest to stay home because he was not feeling well.  Tuesday went great.  Wednesday night the little one got sick and Thursday morning, the oldest one decided that Mumps would be a fun way  to end the week.  They are home again today.

I am exhausted.  Its always hard for me when they get sick.  This liver of mine makes it really hard for me to not get sick when I have one kid sick.  When its the both of them, I feel like I am drowning. Thankfully they are old enough to almost take care of themselves.  I got up and medicated everyone then laid back down for a bit.  They are feeling just good enough to argue over a video game. Yesterday they were both super quiet.  So I am hiding in my room until their screen time is up and I send them to their rooms to rest up a bit.

10things spring

I think even though the week went to hell in a hand basket, there was still a few things in there that made my heart happy.  Let's see.

  1. My Plumeria is going to bloom
  2. Alex riding on two wheels.
  3. Duncan will be going home in a week!
  4. Helping mom save money on medications
  5. I'm going to be an auntie again. This will be #9
  6. Taco Tuesdays
  7. Snugly puppies
  8. Snugly boys.
  9. Friends who bring dinner
  10. Grandma bringing sick supplies.
It must be nap time now right?  Going to send the boys to their rooms and see if I can sleep a bit.  Maybe my head won't hurt as much after a good rest.  Hopefully tomorrow is better.

Hope everyone has a good weekend! Stay safe and have fun!

Boys, baths and baby toys

It's Friday and time to share some happiness. Im linking up with Krysten, Lindsay and Charlotte to share some of my happiness. I always look forward to this day because to be honest, sometimes I think there is no way I can come up with 10 things. Weeks where I am completely overwhelmed or just feeling bad and weeks when everything went wrong.  And then I sit down and these little moments I think of make me smile again. Best feeling ever!  So here we go!
10things spring

1.  Saying yes.  When we walk home from school we always pass the pool,  It was hot and I think we were all dragging,  So when one of the kids asked if we could go swimming, we said yes!  It set the pace for the whole week.  I hate saying no all the time.  Homework got done late, and the water was FREEZING, but I said yes!

2.  Talking to family I haven't talked to in a while.  I always joke that I am not a phone person.  I mean I love my phone but having to talk to people... I'm bad at it.  I'm more of a texter.  But sometimes, you just have to hear their voice to really be able to connect.  Now that I think of it, I talked to a lot of family this week.  Makes my heart happy!

3.  Finding the boys favorite baby toys.  I put together a box of baby stuff for a girl who is expecting and needed some help.  I found the boys favorite toys, one which was a hand me down from my older sister.  Poor piggy is worn down and only has one ear left, but I put new batteries in him and he still oinks!

4.  Getting rid of clutter.  We had this hot spot on the kitchen counter that collect school work and supplies.  Yeah, that's gone!  And now my kitchen counters are all open and clear.  Am I the only one who hates having things on the counter?

5.  Naps on rainy days.  Yes, I love rain.  And naps.  And naps while its raining are the best!  I have been trying my best to fight the fatigue.  But somedays, I just have to give in.  Shoot, its not even rainy today but a nap is looking so good right now.

6.  Having boys who do chores.  While emptying the dishwasher the other day, my 7 year old said "I hope doing this when I am married will make my wife happy too."  Oh yes son, your future wife will thank me for this someday!  When I feel like I am being to hard on the boys I always remember that I am shaping someones husband and father.

7.  A dog who enjoys bathtime.  You never realize how much of a blessing this is until you are trying to bathe a dog who hates baths.  Its like trying to cuddle with a tornado.  Duncan thankfully is little enough that keeping him in the tub was easy.  And eventually he realized, its not as bad as he though it was.  When I took him out and dried him off, he tried to jump back it!

8.  Dogs who behave.  When a friend asked me if she needed to lock the baby gates, she was surprised when I said we just leave them leaned up against the  door. The dogs don't mess with them.  Not even the puppy.  We work hard with the dogs on boundaries.  The boys do a lot of that too. They are great at it.  Mostly I think they like getting to be the one telling someone what to do!

9.  Foot rubs.  My feet have been swelling a lot lately and by the end of the day they hurt so bad.  David is always telling me I need to go to bed earlier and he is always in bed before me.  The other night, he rubbed my feet and I passed out on him.  Didn't get my kitchen cleaned up after dinner but I did get 8 hours of sleep and a promise that there would be more foot rubs in my future!  Winning!

10.  Friendship.  While we were out running errands yesterday, Marriage 365 popped up on my Instagram feed and there was a photo about 30 questions to ask your husband.  The boys were in the car but I figured they were innocent enough to be asked in front of them!  The first one I asked was "What is your favorite part about our marriage?" He said it was our friendship.  I was for sure he was gonna say something else but Friendship works for me. Haha!

So there's my list. What is on your list of happiness for the week?  Happy Friday yall!  Anyone have plans for the weekend?  Its going to be a busy one for us. But we always find time for some fun!

10 things that made me happy this week

unnamed

This week was such a drag. And it was a short week to boot. What gives? But Friday is finally here and that in itself is something to be happy about.

I am always one to find happiness, even in the dark places. It's true, I give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Everyone is a friend. I love everything. So even on a week as stressful and messed up as this one, its still so easy to just be happy.

This week
  1. Davids schedule. It is getting closer and closer to normal. We have been missing him something awful.

  2. Coffee.  Coffee makes me happy. Since its just me drinking it, I never buy it.  But when I do, ahhhh.

  3. Friends who listen to me lose my mind and still love me. Its not very often I have much to complain about, but when I do, they let me get it all out.

  4. Reading. Not just the 3 books I finished.  But reading with the boys, is the highlight on my night.

  5. Little reminders. To slow down, let go and look up. Its been a week of reflecting.

  6. Catching the boys singing Skynyard together. Its been a while since I sang that song to them, but is still one of their favorites.

  7. Surprises. Looks like I have something coming Saturday and so far David hasn't cracked and told me. Hes struggling! LOL

  8. Hiding in my bed. That's pretty much what I did all week. Stressed to the max, so I hid under the covers with my nose in a book.

  9. Come to Jesus talks with Anthony. As much as they hurt, I am happy he was able to clear his chest and really let me know whats been eating at him.

  10. School pictures. Got a preview of them this week and dang I sure have some handsome boys. I'm sure that will come back to bite me in the butt in a few years.  Am I the only one who sends out school pictures anymore?

This weekend is the company party.  And hopefully the hot air balloon festival.  Anyone have any exciting plans for the weekend?

Foster Dog Diaries: Oh Walter!

20141121_134106
Walter and Poncho

Look who is still here.  3 months now.  He is officially the longest foster I have had. I'm not complaining either, because he really is a great dog!  I am just going to enjoy the hell out of him while hes here.

Walter is a 5 year old Dane Mastiff mix.  When he came in to the rescue his back right leg was busted but they got that fixed.  His next hurdle to jump was his heart worm treatment.  For four weeks he was kept in the kitchen and not allowed to be active because of the risk of one of the worms breaking off and causing a pulmonary embolism and the like.  But not getting daily exercise caused his muscles in that leg to atrophy and he got an arthritis flare too.   All just a few days before he was to be adopted!

So, he is still here.  Still waiting. but we are enjoying his company while we have it.  There is still a chance the family who originally wanted him will still take him.  I don't know how he has made it this far without a solid adoption.  Everyone he meets loves him.  He is super chill.  I don't ever worry about him, chewing, peeing, or jumping.  He is a gentler boy.  Happiest while he is loafing around.  He does great with my dogs and kids.  After 2 weeks we packed up the kennel and he sleeps in the living room at night and when we go out.  As much as we would love to hang on to him, I'm excited for the family that takes him home because they will be getting a great dog!

Happiness is ______ {2014-W26} #happinessis

Oh Hello Wednesday!  Its time for some happiness.  I know I usually over share and post a ton of photos, but I've been so crazy busy that I am just going to share one thing.  But it is full of happiness.

If you have follow on other social media you will know who this guy is.  If not, meed Leroy.  He is my latest foster puppy.  He is bursting with energy so I am always trying to find ways to help him shake some of it.  He isn't a big fan of walks and prefers to just bug the crap out of my two other dogs.  But of course that makes everyone super grumpy.  The other day I was spraying off the patio and discovered this.  Leroys true happiness. I've never see a dog drink as much water as this guy, but I had no idea just how happy it made him until I turned on sprinkler!  And there has been no looking back.  Its his favorite time of the day, when he sees me pulling it out.  And he stays out there for hours just playing in the water!

Happiness is water and a very happy puppy.

So I woke up this morning, finished the new Janet Evanovich book, had a slice of pizza and sat down at the computer to renew our licenses.  Well Davids.  I only have an ID.  But then I glanced down at the little clock and date on the bottom of the screen and though "oh crap its already Thursday?!"

Im consistent at one thing.  Island time.  So here I am posting a day late,  again....But I bring happiness so deal with it :)

Two wore out boys.  OK, I do feel a little bad for the horrible sleeping conditions.  But they boy promised they were not tired and thankfully I only needed a few things.  But I was able to get in and get it done quick. The fell asleep before we even got it the store.

So there it is.  A little late but lots of happiness.  I will share more photos later.  We had a great weekend with my brother here.  And I am already working on next weeks posts because this week has been pretty awesome too.  Im waiting for some test results that I am having faith in and a certain dog has his first official adoption event Saturday.  Throw in a Friday night gathering and there is bound to be some good times to share!

Until then stop by and see what happiness others are sharing over at Crazy Adventures in Parenting!  Much love!
