Friday, Fall and Funny Boys

Last night were were getting packed up for swim and Alex said "Hey Mom, don't you think this week kinda went by really fast?"  Yes, son, yes!  And this morning he was singing his Friday song as he shoved eggos in his mouth.  I'm so glad one of them is a morning person. And today is extra special because
Fall is my second favorite season. But after this summer and it's crazy heat and wild weather, I'm might have to swap the two.  And even though we all know that it takes a little while for the south to catch up with Fall, we are that much closer to some cooler weather.

But for now, let's just focus on the fact that it is Friday and that means it's time to share some happiness.

I don't want to jinx it but the boys have been getting along really well.

We finished up another session of swim lessons.

A quick trip to the Reptile House.

My labs were in range and I have a 4 week recheck.

Riverdale.  Binged it and Im kinda hooked.

Cuties.  I just can't get enough of those little oranges.

Gifts left on my front door.

Living next to my Best B. My sister from another Mister!

Buying things for myself. I'm horrible at this.

Planning a date day with David. I can't decide what to do!

Talking to my sisters. As crazy as we are, I love them.

I finished another book. Although I'm not sure a book about Liver Disease should count. I guess so right? The start of every season seems to be when I take a good look at my health and refocus. Which I really need right now. I am so tired of feeling so tired. I lost my balance, so time to make some changes. Again. For someone who hates changes, I seem to always be making changes. I'm not sure if that makes me want to laugh or cry. No, I will laugh. Because change is a happy thing. And because it's Friday. There is no crying on the weekends. I choose to be happy.
I have no idea what we are up to this weekend. I was trying to convince David to take me to the Zoos Croctoberfest. I figured beer for him and fun for me. But I'm not quite sure I'm up for the crowds. Maybe we can get the boys to the park or to the pool to get their energy out but then retiring to the couch for a movie night sounds about right to me.

What made you happy this week?  Who made you happy this week?
