But for real. Four days till my most favorite holiday of the year. We are keeping it pretty simple this year. All the usual fixings. And the usual people. Hopefully the weather will behave so we can enjoy the night out back with a fire. With our pants all unbuttoned because we ate to much.
I'm so looking forward to having my sister here for the whole day. I would have loved to have the whole family but maybe another year.
Anyone else have a hard time meal planning this week. I don't want anything but Thanksgiving dinner. And I don't want any leftovers because I need space in my fridge. But I think we figured it out.
MENU
Monday: Oven Fried Chicken.
Tuesday: Hamburger Macaroni.
Wednesday: Leftovers
Thursday: Thanksgiving dinner
Friday: Turkey Pot Pie
GOALS
Spend time with my guys
Get as much sleep as I can
Hang my Christmas lights up
Start gift shopping
Anyone else procrastinate on grocery shopping. We were supposed to go yesterday but...didn't get it done. So now we have to squeeze it in today and hope the store isn't to crazy.
David took the whole week off so we are determined to have some fun. We will have an extra kid Monday and Tuesday but that wont stop us. Id like to get to the park and maybe the Zoo this week.
Question of the day. How many of you have your Christmas decorations up already? I'm itching to get mine out but the boys say wait until after Thanksgiving like usual. I mean it is just 4 more days. Can I at least get my new lights hung on the house?
Have a great week everyone! I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving. May your hearts and bellies be full!!
