Menu Plan 6•1•20

Happy Monday Everyone.  It is our last week of school here and we are beyond ready for it.  Bring on Summer Break.  We are looking forward to late nights and sleeping in.  Swimming and S'mores.  Ohhh, I can't wait. 

Menu Monday

School might be out soon and our mornings at the table writing and doing school work are coming to a close but there is one thing that isn't going to change around here.  The fact that these boys are always hungry.  The menu planning continues.  This weeks menu includes a few tried and true and a little something new.  


Crispy Southwest Wraps

Chicken Street Tacos

Pork Chops and Broccoli

Baked Cod and Salads

Turkey Chili and Cornbread


We are going to start the week off with chili because 1, its supposed to be rainy and cooler today and 2, because its Monday and Im not trying to spend all day in the kitchen cooking.   This Simple Turkey Chili is just that.  Simple and quick.  

The cod dinner is a new to us dinner that I happened to see while I was searching for dinner ideas.   Im really hoping this one is a keeper, because the boys say I make the same fish dinners all the time.  Heres to trying something new!

I just remembered I need to get a new panini press.  The one I have my dad got over 12 years ago when we were still in Florida.  I love that thing, but its about ready for retirement.  But he gave it to me and so I'll probably use it till it just gives up on me.  Anyone else have kitchen gadgets they love and can't quite get rid of yet?
