Menu Monday: December 3rd

I had a plan.  Go to bed early.  Wake up feeling somewhat alive.  Be happy and cheerful and send the boys to school before having a very productive day.  Well, about that...

I ended up wrapping a few presents.  Then David got home around midnight.  Next thing I knew, it was 130am and I was yawning. I laid in bed for about another hour just staring at the fan.  And then 5:45 hit me like a 18 wheeler.  But, I was at least for the most part cheerful and happy this morning.  Until it was time to go and no one was ready.  But before that I was winning.  UGH!  Mondays!

I also meant to get my menu posted last night but got distracted but its planned.  Its not the prettiest menu, but we are still adjusting to David popping in for dinner before leaving and Im trying to make meals that I know will be quick enough yet not to light because by the time he gets home again, hes ready for bed and for the life of me I can't ever convince him to eat breakfast, so...  Here is what made it on the dinner menu for this week!

Sausage Rice and Corn.

Meatloaf and Salads

Teriyaki Chicken Bowls

Baked Pork Chops and Broccoli

Chicken Adobo and Rice

Teriyaki Chicken!  Our favorite Gigi Eats recipe!
It's a pretty easy week I think.  I love dinners that take less than an hour start to finish.  I will have to marinate the chicken on Tuesday but thats easy peasy.

So no about that being productive idea.  Im feeling a little more awake than I was 30 minutes ago.  I have been super queasy lately but I have to take my meds and Im procrastinating.  But I have to take them now if I want to be better by the time Alex gets out of school. My to do list keeps growing. But Hopefully by the end of the day, I can come back and check everything else off!

  • Dishes.
  • Laundry, laundry and more laundry
  • Refill meds for Chico and I.
  • Figure out moms insurance.
  • Call about a few bills that must be wrong!
  • Get dinner done.
  • Clean out the pantry.
  • Download Flickr Albums.
  • Pick out recipes for our 12 days of cookies!
Anyone else want to just crawl back in bed and sleep off the rest of the day?  I suppose I could power through it all and take a power nap before Anthony gets home.  Sounds like a good plan to me!

I hope everyone had a great weekend and that you week is off to a great start!  Happy Monday Y'all!
