Menu Plan Monday: November 28th


Its back to the grind today.  Thanksgiving break is over and the boys are back in school.  And David is back to work.  Having all of my guys home for a whole week was just the icing on the cake for me.  Did we do everything we planned on doing?  No.  To be honest we spent most of the week at home, playing video games and sleeping.  But in the end, it was a vacation for all of us.  I even took a laundry break.  That however has come back to bit me in the butt.  The pile of clothes these boys have managed to collect in just one week, is insane!


You know it's a good week when I manage to get a picture of the four of us.  Its blurry but we are all smiling. Well, it's as close to a smile as David gets!  We so enjoyed our visit to the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort for their annual Light up the night celebration.  Ill share more of our trip later.

I even caught another glimpse of this kid smiling.  Pre teen mood swings are in full effect, so this was a big deal!


But now we are going back to school and work and the regular routines.  And that means menu planning for me.  These boys have the appetites of grown men.  Here is to hoping this week's menu will please them.


Monday:  Salisbury Steaks, mashed potatoes and salads.

Tuesday:  Italian chicken, garlic bread and veggies.

Wednesday:  Lemon parmesan cod with brown rice and broccoli.

Thursday:  Hamburger macaroni (didn't get to it last week).

Friday:  Baked pork chops and salads.


  • Get all the Christmas decorations up.
  • Finish up the gift lists.
  • Deep clean the fridge.
  • Hit my steps at least 3 times this week.
  • Make broth for the dogs with the leftover turkey.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving week and weekend.  I know we did.  Poor David is probably going to be hurting now that he's going back to regular hours finally but having him home for dinner will be so worth it!

Hopefully the week will be over before we know it.  For now.....
