Menu Plan Monday: March 7th

Monday got here fast enough but how is it noon already?  If today went by fast I wonder if that means the week will go by fast too!?  Next week is spring break after all.  Its a big week though.  This morning I had my follow up at the Liver Transplant Clinic.  More on that later.  This week is also the week my oldest has the "Big Talk" at school.  I watched the video ahead of time and oh my lord.  More on that later too.  How is he even old enough for this?  Wasn't he just born?  Someone hit the pause button for me please!


On to the food, because that's probably about all my brain can handle right now.  Easy stuff, right?!  Nothing super special this week. Someone asked if I had done chicken and broccoli instead of the beef we had last week, so I'm going to find out.

Monday:  We totally slacked this weekend and didn't go grocery shopping.  So we are going today and having spaghetti and salads for dinner.

Tuesday:  Baked chops with mashed and corn.

Wednesday:  Leftovers or the chicken taqutos that the hubby posted on my Facebook page.  Actually I showed him how to do that, so I'm sure it will come back to bite me in the butt.  But, like I said.  We were super lazy yesterday and I really didn't want to find paper to write it down

Thursday:  Chicken and Broccoli. I'm sure it will be just as good.  And chicken is always tender.  So there is not worry about tough and chewy beef.  That's the worst!

Friday:  Fish.  Not sure yet what, but we still have a few more weeks till Easter for fish it is.  Salmon? Swai? Tuna?  That is still up in the air.  Or in the ocean. 

Don't mind me.  I probably should take a nap or something.  Yes, a nap sounds perfect.  And I got my flu shot today.  I'm so glad that I have gotten over my fear of needles.  That sucker stung.  Nothing like the lovenox burn, but still.
