So what happens when Christmas break is rocked by the flu and colds? You never have to go grocery shopping. I kid you not, the first week of break, I made a big ole pot of soup and we ate that on days when we were hungry. The second week we got tamales and menudo from Grandma and that lasted us most of the second week. So, we are recycling some of the menu. My Christmas ham...just got cooked yesterday. I will hit the store today after David gets home from work. My fridge is finally empty. Thankfully my freezer is still full!
