Sharing our Spoons Week 4

Sharing Our Spoons will be a weekly link-up where you are able to find support and encouragement to focus on your entire health. Not just physical but all of you. For this link-up you will be able to choose holistic goals to help you achieve optimal health. My five goals include: Physical, Mental/Emotional, Spiritual, Something fun and the Bonus of getting out of our comfort zone.  How did I do this week?  Well lets see...

  1. Physical: Walk, run or ride 10 miles this week.  Well I only logged 6.3 miles.  I did do a lot of walking this weekend, but not for exercise and I'm not counting walks to the bus stop.  Going to try again.    
  2. Mental/Emotional:  Write it out.  I have been holding so much in the past few days its making me sick to my stomach.  Might have to write it on paper and spare y'all the drama! Unless you count THIS post about the mark of my 2 years on the transplant list, I bombed this one.  The only other thing I wrote out was my grocery list, and I'm still working on it!  I'm going to change this one this week to logging my food.  All of it.  I have really slacked off on this and I need to get my diet back in check!  
  3. Spiritual:  Teach the boys how to say grace before dinner! In the name of my father, I'm the son and the whole ghosts.  This is where we start to giggle.  The boys are such goofballs sometimes.  Still working on this one, Anthony always remembers after we started eating that we forgot to say pray.    
  4. Something fun:  Send out a cards.  I love getting cards in the mail and hopefully so will the people that get my cards :)  This one has been so much fun.  Got another card out last week.  Have a few more people in mind to send to also.  Good stuff!
  5. BONUS: Share one of my draft posts that I haven't had the guts to share.  I went to do this and I realized I had deleted them all one very emotional day.  So no draft post.  This goal always gets me.  I never know what to do.  But Ill try to think of something and let you know next week what it was ;-)
I guess it wasn't that bad of a week.  So much going on around here with the end of school excitement, a new dog, David on nights, and a holiday weekend.  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  Hopefully not to much pain or troubles going on.  Much love to you all.  Here is to a new week and new goals!  How did you do this week?

  2. Great job! 6.3 miles is still something to be proud of! I love the prayers! We are teaching Abby how to say the meal prayer now that she's a little older (she was just in charge of the amen) so we've had some giggle moments too in the process!
