Why are carbs so good? When Davids doctor told him it was time to cut out carbs, I'm not gonna lie, my heart kinda sunk. For a selfish reason. My team has already told me to cut animal protein and all veggies with vitamin K. So basically 75% of them. And this guy was all "EAT ALL THE MEATS AND VEGGIES YOU WANT!" I know how hard it is to make changes like this when you are doing it alone. Trust me. Cooking up a pan of spinach and then not eating any proved impossible a few times until I just stopped buying it. So I knew if he had to do it, I would too.
So now I am trying to find the balance of all the foods and am trying to adjust my medications around it all. I have to do lab work this week. Should be interesting to say the least. We didn't completely cut them out. I will still cook the things the boys like. Anthony asked for Mac and Cheese to go with his steaks and Alex would be disappointed if I didn't make his favorite brown rice to go with the beef and broccoli. We just won't be eating them. We did have pizza tonight though. Baby steps right? Here is this weeks line up.
