Menu Plan Monday: October 3rd

Hello October.  I am beyond excited for the holidays this year.  I think a lot of it is because it actually feels like fall outside right now.  I have been spending my nights out back on the couch, covered in a blanket while the dogs get one last run in for the day. Its perfect.  And a nice change to the Texas heat for sure!

Did everyone have a good weekend?  I think this weekend was the first one in a while that we spend the most time inside the house.  According to Alex, we slugged around.  Sounds about right to me.  We did have to go get food for Poncho and even managed to go grocery shopping.  David wasn't sure he wanted to go, but the Cowboys won, so he was in a better mood after wards!

Monday:  Beef and Broccoli Bowls

Tuesday:  Honey Mustard Salmon with Salads

Wednesday:  Philly Cheese Steaks

Thursday:  Lemon Pepper Turkey and Brown Rice Pilaf

Friday:  Leftovers.


There are 2 beef meals this week.  I know!  Those that know me, know I can't do beef.  But I got me some extra salmon to cover those nights.  So far I have cut back to very little meat in general.  It just hurts so much everytime I eat it.  Fish seems to be ok though, so that helps.  Gotta find the positive in it all right?!

I will be sharing my Beef and Broccoli recipe tomorrow along with something that is about to change my lunch packing game for sure!  Anyone else pack their husbands lunch?  I pack lunches for the boys too, but they are good about putting their lunch containers in the since every day.  David...not so much.
