Sugar n' Spice Vox Box

Have y'all heard about Influenster?  I found about it from my friend Christina over at Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget.  I've tried a few other freebie sites out before and decided to give Influenster a go. I read though some of the other reviews, made a few of my own.  A few weeks later, I found out that I qualified for the Sugar n' Spice Vox Box.  I don't know about you, but I love getting freebies and was so excited when I saw that orange box sitting in my mail box!
Want to know what was inside?

Heres a run down of everything:

Belvita Breakfast Biscuits
Vaseline Spray and Go Moisturizer
Nectress Sweetenr
Dickinsons Witch Hazel Oil Controlling Towelettes
Colgate Optic White Toothpaste, Mouthwash and Toothbrush.

IMG_20130320_082442.The Belvita Biscuits didn't last very long after I took them out of the box.  My youngest saw me open them and after one bite he said I had to put them on the grocery list.  They were much better than I was expecting them to be.  Not at all cardboardy (is that even a word) like I expected them to be.  And they aren't overly sweet either which I liked.  I took a look at our store and saw that there are a few more flavors too.  Golden oat, blueberry, apple cinnamon, cinnamon brown sugar and even a chocolate. We are big cinnamon lovers around here but I think I will try the blueberry or golden oats next.
At first I though the Vaseline was sun tan oil.  I have never seen spray moisturizer before.  Its actually kind of cool.  Don't laugh but this bottle is currently sitting in my van because I always forget to put on lotion and head out with dry skin.  Talk about a life saver.  It works.  It's not oily for me, but I have had others say it was for them.  Maybe because my skin is so dry?!  It smells good.  But I'm just not a fan of sprays.  I do like that it dries very quickly, so that over rules my picky-ness.  Dont mind me just making up words as I go along!

Oh Nectress.  How I want to love this, but am I the only one that is scared of sugar substitutes? Its really not horrible.  It does the trick.  I have tried it in my coffee and tea.  It didn't leave behind a filmy taste like some others seem to do, but I'm just a little weird when it comes to sugar.  Weird as in I love it and I'm picky about it.  Have I always been this picky...gah!

IMG_20130321_220802.I love the Dickinsons Towelette!  At first the witch hazel smell was a little bit of a turn off but now I don't even notice it.  They should be called towels because they are huge and durable.  They leave my face feeling great!  Fresh and clean.  Each towelette is individually wrapped which makes taking them to go is easy.  I have a few in my purse just in case.  And I even put some in the car to freshen up after soccer practice and afternoons at the park. I am super glad to have gotten a few coupons for these too because I am almost out of the box already!
Last but not least is the Colgate Optic White.  We are a Colgate house, so I was super excited about trying out this.  Who doesn't want whiter teeth right?  I admit that I am so self conscious about my teeth.  Thanks to bad genes and next to no dental visits as a child, I am playing some serious catch up now.  I have noticed that my teeth are a little whiter, not movie star white, but whiter.  The mouthwash is not my favorite though.   It is alcohol free, but its also very foamy.  Have you ever gargled peroxide?  Its kind of like that. Even after you spit it out, you have to keep spitting the foam that builds up afterwards.  So lady like I know, but a small price to pay for a beautiful smile!

I am so happy that I was chosen to test these out and share my opinions with you all.  Who knows maybe I will be chosen for another!

**I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.**
